Part 1
Some of the subtle messesges from magazines and TV ads, include sexy skinny women that are over beautiful. But it is sad to see when women realize that there is only maybe 20 precent in the world that look like these models. This kind of messages make women self-contentious, depressed and simply angry about the way they look. For guys when they look at the magazines they fall in love with the women they see, the beaty they have, etc. But, in the real world like i said, not many women look as the women on the magazine covers. So therefore not only guys are dissapointed in search of their beatiful soulmates but also the women are stuck alone because the guys dont think they are breatiful enough for them. These messages are not reasonable at all, they are false. BEcause of these messages, people are having depression prblems, enorexia and bolimia.
Part 2
I enjoy painting and long boarding, which often leads to bad accidents on the whole long boarding side. I also love reggay music, because it makes me feel at peace with myself, and at peace with people around me. I am a very creative person and i enjoy listening and engaging in activities that help me express my creative side. During Spring break i have read all the Twilight series, and i thought that these books were the best thing i have ever read. The books are called Twilight, New moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I will describe acrilyc painting, this activity has started long before i was born, and there are many breatiful paintings from times like 17 hundreds and 18 hundreds and even earlyer. I love painting because it makes me at peace with my inner self.
-I dont really have a career in mind, but i like two fields, one is actually advertisment because i love the creative side of it, and nother is marketing because i enjoy dealing with people, being organized and it also has a little bit of a creative side in it. In order for me to major in these fields, i need to take advertisment classes, maybe even computer art design and of course business marketing classes. I know i dont need a lot of math or science which is fine with me because i dont enjoy either of those things.
-In my career i would observe things through a creative artist that would exell in advertismend. I view many ads and media commercials and try to figure out how they media makes mass advertisment, and controlls people by showing them things like emotional ads. For example: watching an ad that has dramatic music and a few words shown through out the whole ad. THis ad is made to effect people emotionally, by the type of music they picked and the type of words that are shown to us through the ad. I see that it is very important to mentally know your consumer, and if you know them well enough, and you know what effects them the most, emotionally and physically, you can sell anything you want to them. Its just the matter of time when you can figure out how. But i know if you can connect mentally to the concumers they will listen, follow and learn to what you have to show, say or sell.

1.How does mass advertising justify selling pointless things to consumers? How does certain style of ads connect to people on a deeper level?

I think that advertisment effects everybody including me. Many dont realize this, but they have cars, products, clothe that is on TV. Just like Toyota Prius for examples, when it came out just about everybody started buying it, then one year later there were many other hybrid cars that came out and people were getting mad because the new ones were better then the Prius. This is how advertismend effects us. We are the most consumerist country in the world, and many dont realize it and that is how advertismend effects us. Many go out and buy the first things they see on Tv that looks appealing to them. But that is the mistake we make. People should always research what they buy and if its worth the price they pay.
I know that i am effected by advertismend but i look at it in a artistic point of view. I enjoy looking at different ads and commercials because i am facinated by the techniques and the artistic ablities they have and use with in the ads. But many of us are not effected the same as i am when they look at the commercials. Most of the country looks at the commercials and advertisment and dont realize that the companies that pay for the advertismend are just trying to move product. Society is deeply effected by media, ads and advertisments. Another examples would be ED Hardy, the one designers that is so terrible but his clothe is expensive and none artistic, it has no style and its worth alot of money that many are willing to pay. I simply think its sad and disgusting how the society is ruled by ads and new fashion designers, new cars that will be even better next year. People just want to have fansy expensive things, and it doesnt make sense to me why. Why would you buy something like Ed Hardy? This guy has no style, and he is making a lot of money on air headed guys and girls that dont understand that they are just buying 3 dollars shirts that cost 60 dollars just because of the name on it.
Its sad....
